For an efficient supply chain, 1 Refinery, 2 Industrial Squeezers and 2 Industrial Fermenters is enough to support 2 Diesel Generators. The table below compares it to other modded fuels.įor the Diesel Generator to continually run on Biodiesel, it needs 160 mB/sec. The table below compares it to other modded fuels.ġ bucket of Biodiesel burns for 12.5 seconds, generating a total of 1,024,000 Flux. Popular: Is Super Mario Sunshine 2 Playerġ bucket of Biodiesel burns for 6.25 seconds, generating a total of 512,000 Flux. It does not have an internal energy buffer. The machine automatically shuts off if it cannot export power. The standard fuel is Biodiesel, but the Diesel Generator can accept a few other modded fuels, which burn for longer and produce more total energy. Piping any amount of fuel in through its fluid ports starts it producing energy at a rate of 4096 Flux/tick (or less if the energy-net can’t accept that much). The multiblock machine needs to be properly assembled, struck with an Engineer’s Hammer, and wired up to an energy-net with Wire Connectors before it’s ready to start generating. The generator can be halted by applying a Redstone signal to the “control panel” on the side of the machine (indicated by a red dot). Power is exported through the three plugs on top, near the front of the machine (each with a small copper-colored dot). Fuel needs to be piped in through the side ports near the front of the machine (indicated by blue dots). The Diesel Generator does not have a GUI. The Ear Defenders can selectively muffle its sound. It generates Immersive Flux (IF) or Redstone Flux (RF) by burning Biodiesel or other modded fuels.Ī running Diesel Generator makes a fair amount of noise. Is a 3×5×3 multiblock added by Immersive Engineering. I can post screens when I get home from work for my setup if needed. This page is about the Diesel Generator added by Immersive Engineering. I currently have 4 and am planning on adding more as time goes on. This also means you can support a lot more than just two diesel generators with one refinery, since you are not going to be using the diesel generators except for when your power is low. With a tank on your fluid line, you can bank up biodiesel when it's not in use (mekanism dynamic tank is fantastic for this, I currently have a 5x4 tank that holds a ton of it). Using Redstone (I like to use eio Redstone conduits for easy expansion) and a capacitor between the diesel generators and your machines, you can set up a system that will turn on the generators when below a certain point and turn them back off when it's full or close to full. If your power needs are less than what the diesel generator is putting out, you're wasting biodiesel. To add to this, the enderio power monitor can be configured to output a Redstone signal when your capacitor bank drops below a certain level.
